Mrs. Mamie Ellen Greenlee, 81, Rt. 6, Fayetteville, died Jan. 26 in a Fayetteville nursing home. Born Aug. 9, 1895, in Fort Smith, she was the daughter of Thurman and Mollie Giles Rice, had lived in Fayetteville most of her life and was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church.
Survivors include seven sons, Harvey Greenlee, Springdale, Lonnie Greenlee, Bud Greenlee, Arch Greenlee and Millard Greenlee, Fayetteville, Russell Greenlee, Tontitown, and Roy Greenlee, Siloam Springs; two brothers, Earl Rice, Tieton, Wash., and Thurman Rice, Roseburg, Ore.; three sisters, Mrs. Lona Caton, Yakima, Wash., Mrs. Ora Mae Swan, Tieton, Wash., and Mrs. Flossie McClure, Griffin, Ga.; 33 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Moore's Chapel, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Kenneth Sanders officiating. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery under the direction of Moore's. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.
