SILOAM SPRINGS — Carolina Pimentel Valencia, 11, of Siloam Springs passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on June 24, 2013, at Children's Medical Center of Dallas. She was born on June 3, 2002, in Siloam Springs, Ark., to Roberto Pimentel and Claudia Valencia.
Carolina was a student at Southside Elementary School and attended Centro Cristiano Hispano. Carolina faced life's challenges with determination and courage. She demanded that no tears were to be shed for her. So we will honor that request by celebrating her life — a life full of love, a wisdom bound her years and a steadfast faith in God. Carolina's memory will be cherished in our hearts forever.
Carolina is survived by her parents; a brother, Miguel Angel Pimentel Valencia; grandparents, aunts, uncles,
cousins; church family; teachers and classmates; and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held at 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, at Centro Cristiano Hispano, 4780 East Exit Highway 412, Siloam Springs.
A celebration of Carolina's life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at Centro Cristiano Hispano. Pastor Fred Garcia will be officiating. Burial will follow the
funeral at Martin Cemetery.
Carolina's family wishes to thank the physicians and nurses who lovingly cared for her during her illness. They are grateful for their church family, school district and the community who have been so kind and supportive. God bless you all.
A fund has been established in Carolina's name at Arvest to help defray expenses.
