SPRINGDALE — Mary June English, age 78, of Springdale, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, at the Earlene Howard Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale. She was born April 19, 1933, in Harthorn, Mo., the daughter of Roy and Laura Blackburn Steelman.
Mrs. English was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Carl Wayne Poole; and two grandsons.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, George English of the home; four sons, David Lawson and wife, Karla, of Lake Stevens, Wash., Jerry Lawson and wife, Connie, of Springdale, Charles Lawson and wife, Sheila, of Springdale, and Nathan Lawson and wife, Glenda, of Springdale; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, Feb, 23, 2012, at the White Oak Cemetery in the Harmon Community, with the Rev. Randall Galloway officiating, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Springdale.
