First Sgt. Fred W. England, 56, died yesterday at Barksdale Field, La. Born at Wedington, he had been in the Army 18 years.
Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Edna C. England of Savoy; four brothers, W.W. England and Wayne England, both of Fayetteville, John N. England of Lakeside, Wash., and Tom W. England of Milwaukee, Wis.
Funeral Arrangements under direction of Moore's Funeral Chapel are incomplete, but a military service will be held at White Oak.
