Charles W. Holcomb, 67, of Pittsburg, Texas, died Saturday, June 18, 1994, in a Pittsburg hospital. Born Jan. 18, 1927, at Washington County, the son of George Roy and Lelia Johnson Holcomb, the was a retired steam shop foreman for Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He moved to Pittsburg from Lubbock in 1989. He was a member of the Church of God, the Lions Club in Lubbock and was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors are his wile, Maxine Holcomb of Pittsburg, Texas; and two brothers, George Holcomb of Bella Vista, and Joe Crandall Holcomb of Springfield, Mo.

Graveside service is at 2:30 p.m. today at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale. Arrangements are by Erman Smith Funeral Home of Pittsburg, Texas.
