SILOAM SPRINGS — Willa Mae Harris, 76, of Siloam Springs, died Feb. 10, 2007, at the Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville. She was born Jan. 10, 1931, in Siloam Springs. She was the daughter of Joseph and Lizzie Mayberry Robison. She married Paul R. Harris on March 26, 1978, in Neosho, Mo. She was of the Pentecostal faith and affiliated with the House of Prayer Church in Siloam Springs. She was the owner/ operator of several cafes in the area over the years. She was the owner of the Herford Cafe in Siloam Springs and the Corner Cafe in Gentry, as well as other establishments. She loved to play bingo and go to the casino. She was preceded in death by two sons, Larry and Tony Vaughn.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Harris of Siloam Springs; three daughters, Sharleta Davidson and husband Jim of Siloam Springs, Leona Robinson and husband Jake of Siloam Springs; Lucy Summers and husband Bill of Pryor, Okla.; two sons, Morris Vaughn and wife Patsy of Stilwell, Okla., Cal Dean Vaughn and wife Rita of Watts, Okla.; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Bennie Robison of Siloam Springs.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel in Siloam Springs with Hugh Woolard officiating. Burial will be held at Martin Cemetery in Siloam Springs, under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
