Jean Marie Swartz

Jean Marie Swartz, age 74 of Yellville, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2008 at the Baxter Regional Hospital in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Jean was born in Garrison, North Dakota on November 20, 1933. She was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Eslinger) Boger. Jean was a retired Parking Supervisor for the City of Houston, Texas at the Hobby International Airport, and was currently employed by Fred’s Discount Department Store in Yellville, Arkansas. Jean, and her husband Henry, had moved to the Yellville area 8 years ago.

Jean is survived by her husband Henry of Yellville; one son, Larry Abel of Tacoma, Washington; two daughters, Carol Barrows of Lompoc, California and Joan Russell of Tacoma, Washington; two sisters, Betty Mauthz of Garrison, North Dakota and Agnes Boyd of Deming, New Mexico. Jean is also survived by one grandchild, Jamie Russell and one great-grandchild, Dylan Steffans.

Visitation will be held at the Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas on Monday, February 11, 2008 from 5-7 pm. Graveside Services will be held at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery south of Yellville on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Memorials in lieu of flowers can be made to the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
