of Flippin
Joerean Humphrey of Flippin (Rea Valley), Arkansas died Tuesday, March 2, 2005 at her residence in Rea Valley. She was 74 years old.
Mrs. Humphrey was born August 7, 1930 at Buffalo, Arkansas to Samuel and Faye Isom Martin. On May 12, 1945, she married Lee Humphrey.
She was a housewife and homemaker and member of the Rea Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Lee Humphrey of Flippin, AR; daughter, Glenda Joyce Jones and husband Jerry of Yellville, AR; sister, Mrs. Agnes Foster of Yakima, WA; granddaughter, Jennifer Jones of Yellville, AR; and several nieces and nephews. Her parents preceded her in death.
Visitation was held Thursday, March 3, 2005 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Burns Chapel in Yellville, Arkansas.
Funeral service was held Friday, March 4, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas with Brother Jack Gilliland and Reverend Ron Robbins officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Yellville, Arkansas with Jack Akins, Larry Bearden, Max Jones. J. W. Ott, Kelly Hudson and David Humphrey serving as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers were Nemo Tilley, Richard Sims, Jim Cantrell, Johnny Humphrey, Sam Foster, "Howdy: Weckesser, the staffs of Ahrens Clinic and Hospice of the Ozarks.
Memorials may be given to the Hospice of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
