William “Bill” Calvin Barnes, 80, of Greenbrier passed away Monday, October 8, 2007 at his home.

He was born April 4, 1927.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nellie Barnes; his first wife, Mary Ethel Barnes, a brother, Joe Barnes, and a sister, Imagene Kristek.

He was a mechanic, a WWII Army veteran, and member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenbrier.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie Barnes; daughter, Debi Dean; sons, Howard Barnes and William Barnes; step-daughters, Lori Passmore-Klosky and Joyce Wilke; step-son, Bruce Pringlemeir; grandchildren, Dustin Thomas, Michael Barnes, Christopher Barnes, Andrea Vandervort, Michael Pringlemeir, Zachary Klosky, Eric Klosky, Lee Passmore, Hope Passmore, John Kazmierczak, and Christopher Kazmierczak; and six great-grandchildren.

He was loved by all who knew him and he never met a person he didn’t like. He was always full of laughter and smiles. His greatest passions were fishing and enjoying life on the Arkansas River with friends and family.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 12th, 10:00 a.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Bro. Gaylon King officiating. Burial will follow at Thorn Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: Dustin Thomas, Dan Klosky, Eric Klosky, R.B. Lee, Michael Pringlemeir, and James Rowe.
