Margaret Wandeen "Dean" Garrison, 77, of Greenbrier, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 25, 2013. Born in Benton, Tenn., on Aug. 16, 1935, she was a daughter to John M. Campbell, Sr. and Jessie Margaret (Tilley) Campbell. Miss Dean will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and sister, she was a Christian inspiration to everyone she met, she loved her Lord and family. She was a very active member of Cross Point Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and participated in the Faulkner County Jail Ministry.She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph D. Garrison, Sr.; her parents; a son, Mike Garrison; a sister, Norma Ragland; a brother, Gordon Campbell; and her step-mother, Juanita Gammon.Those left to cherish her memory are, her son: Joe D. Garrison, Jr. and wife Katie of Greenbrier; granddaughter, Randa Litton and husband Chase of Conway; sisters, Janice Campbell-Pierce of The Woodlands, Texas, and Judith Gervais and husband Lonnie of Paradis, La.; brothers, Morris Campbell and wife Sandra of Houston, Texas, and Mark Campbell of Valencia, Calif.; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. A celebration of her life will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday at Cross Point Baptist Church, with Bro. Danny Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Thorn Cemetery in Greenbrier.Memorial may be made to Gideon's International or Cross Point Baptist Church.
