Pine Bluff - Luthelma Devine Wright Brickey of Pine Bluff died April 19, 2014 at her home at the age of 65. She was born January 22, 1949 in DeWitt to Dewey and Dorothy Wright who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James O'Neal Brickey. They were married August 13, 1966 and were married 40 years before his death. Also preceding her were three children: Mark, Tina and a stillborn baby girl, two sisters, Gladys and Lucile, six brothers, Edward, Richard, Thomas, Johnny Alvie and James.
She was a member of the General Assembly and Church of the First Born which she joined September 7, 1964.
She is survived by her ten children, five boys: Michael of Pine Bluff, Eric (Theresa) of Purcell, OK, Kevin (Angie) of Lexington, OK, David (Tiwana) of Little Elm, TX, Dustin (Tonya) of Hobart, OK; five daughters: Marcella Burnett and Sheila Wilkinson (Jearald) of Lexington, OK, Shelly Edwards (Daniel) and Heather Green (Billy) of Hobart, OK, Crystal Fisher (Glen) of DeWitt, twenty six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; three sisters: Evon Watkins of Pine Bluff, JoAnne McFarlin of Parkland, OK, Geneva Atteberry of Las Vegas, NV; six brothers: Eugene, Royce, Nolan, and Oscar Wright of DeWitt, Bobby Wright of Hobbs, NM and Luther Wright of Lovington, NM along with a host of family and friends.
Funeral services are 2:30 Tuesday, April 22nd at The Church of the First Born, DeWitt with burial at Thompson Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home of DeWitt. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. essexfuneralhome.com.
