B. L. Frazier, 78, of Russellville, died Saturday, July 21, 2007, at Russellville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy battle with cancer.

He was born September 11, 1928, in Havana, Arkansas to Loyd Franklin and Mae Murray Frazier. He was a World War II veteran, taught at Bellville, Arkansas and was superintendent of schools at Havana. He had a lengthy career with Firestone Tire and Rubber Company including staffing the new Firestone plant at Russellville. He was production superintendent at Continental-Emsco in Garland, Texas, plant manager for EnerSteel in El Paso, Texas, and owner of Permian Pump and Supply Inc. in Goldsmith, Texas until his retirement in 2001.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Beth Hoffman Frazier, sons, Al Frazier of Russellville and his family, Becky, Jordan, and Clayton; Gary Frazier of Springdale, Arkansas and his family, Merilyn, Adam, and Sarah; and Keith Frazier of Malvern, Arkansas; a daughter, Denise Henderson of Dardanelle, Arkansas and her husband William; a granddaughter, Amanda Irby and her family, Joe, Logan, and Noah of Conway, Arkansas; a brother, Loyd H. Frazier of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; and a sister, Zelta Bell of Danville, Arkansas.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at Saint John's Catholic Church in Russellville with Fr. William F. Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Atkins Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be Clayton Frazier, Jordan Frazier, Dr. John Wink, Don Woods, Jim Graham, and Ed Preas.

Mary Beth Frazier, 64, of Russellville, died Sunday, May 8, 2011, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was born October 25, 1946, in Russellville, to Maurice (Moe) and Mary Louise Hoffman. She was a graduate of the University of Texas El Paso and a former employee of Firestone Tire and Rubber of Russellville, Continental EMSCO of Texas, Honeywell Corp. of Texas, and the City of Midland Texas. She and her late husband founded Permian Pump and Supply of Midland and Goldsmith, Texas. They retired back to Russellville in 2001. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, a brother, and her husband, B. L. Frazier.
Survivors include her mother, a sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Larry McAlister of Dover; two nieces, Cheryl and John Hickman of Atkins, and Susan and Matt Self of Russellville; a great nephew, Nathan Hickman of Atkins; and two great nieces, Emma and Anna Self of Russellville.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Saint John's Catholic Church. Fr. Bill Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in the Atkins Catholic Cemetery, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
Rosary and visitation will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday evening at St. John's Catholic Church.
