STILWELL, Okla. — Pernie Faye Johnson Canada Walker King, 82, of Stilwell died March 22, 2009, at Stilwell Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 9, 1926, to Benjamin and Janie Brown Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Cecil Melvin Canada and Inman Newlan Walker; a son, Loy Earl Keller; a stepdaughter, Nancy Lawless; three granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Lewis King; three sons, Cecil Canada and wife Bea of Sallisaw, Okla., Anthony Canada and wife Toni of Lincoln and Rickey Wilhite and wife Jamie of Siloam Springs; seven daughters, Mary Bouyear and husband Allison of Stilwell, Melva Hammer and husband Steve of Westville, Okla., Sheila Alberson of Morrow, Cynthia Sugg and husband Glynn of Lincoln, Sharon Snell and husband Brian of Springdale and Theresa Matthew and husband Tom of Fayetteville and Shirley Logston of Westville; three stepdaughters, Billie Webster and husband Carl of Roland, Okla., Deborah Ann Kappa and husband Luther of Springdale, and Doretha Dillion Walker of Florida: a stepson, Tommy King and wife Debbie of Roland, Okla.; two sisters, Jessie Gibson of Maricopa, Calif., and Pauline Canada of Waldron, Okla.; 61 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Tabernacle of Praise in Westville, Okla.

Burial will be at Sugar Hill Cemetery in Lincoln.

STILWELL, Okla. - Inman Newlin Walker, 79, of Stilwell died July 2, 2002, at Stilwell Memorial Hospital. He was born March 25, 1923, in San Antonio, Texas, to Inman Oliver Walker and Doritha Newlin. He attended Center Point Church of God in Prairie Grove. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He worked as a union electrician and also worked for Planters Peanut Co. in Fort Smith where he saved a man's life and was awarded a life saving award. He also worked at the nuclear plant in Russellville for 10 years, during its construction. He was preceded in death by three granddaughters; two great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters.

Survivors include his wife, Pernie Faye Walker of the home; four sons, Burch Canada of Sallisaw, Okla., Anthony Canada of Lincoln. Ricky Wilhite of Noel, Mo., and Loy Keller of Tyrone, Okla.; seven daughters, Doritha Purkaalter of Pensacola, Fla., Mary Bouyear of Stilwell, Melva Hammer of Westville, Okla., Sheila Alderson and Cynthia Sugg, both of Lincoln, Sharon Ramize of Stilwell and Teresa Matthew of Rogers; two brothers, Wayne Walker of Harrison and Kenith Walker of Harris; two sisters, Rose May Moses of Dallas, Texas, and Ina Bell William of Harrison; 46 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Center Point Church of God in Prairie Grove with Cecil Sugg officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Hill Cemetery at Lincoln.

Arrangements are by Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Harold Canada, Melvine Canada, Harold Blossom Jr., Steven Rogers, Alvie Fletcher, Travis Sugg, Matthew Canada, Ben Canada and Roy Lee Hudson Jr.
