Arnold Dene Nance, 61, of Siloam Springs died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 1995, at his home.

Born April 22, 1934, in Elk City, Okla., he was the son of Lester and Mary Dyer Nance.

He moved with his family to Moseley, Okla. in 1934, graduated from Colcord, Okla. High School, moved to Wichita, Kan. where he worked in a brother's business before coming to Siloam Springs in 1958. He retired from Webb Wheel and established Nance Machine Inc. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Siloam Springs and the Upper Room Sunday school class.

Survivors are his wife, Betty Luttrell Nance of the family home; two sons, Larry D. Nance of Conway and Jimmy W. Nance of Siloam Springs; a daughter, Nena Nance Houston of Siloam Springs; a sister, Opal Miner of Wichita, Kan.; four brothers, LaVern Nance, Donald Nance and Bob Nance all of Wichita, Kan., and Vernon Nance of Tulsa, Okla. and seven grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs with Dr. Steve Abbott officiating. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery with services under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital Foundation or the First Baptist Church's building fund.
