Johnny Glenn Church, 61, a resident of Jerusalem, died Friday, February 5, 2010, at his home.

He was born June 2, 1948, at Morrilton, to J. E. and Jeanne Spears Church. He was a Production Manager for Superior Graphite for 25 years, was a United States Marine Corp. veteran, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of the Cleveland Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed turkey hunting, motorcycles, folk music, and spending time at home with his grandchildren and family. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Francine Church of Jerusalem; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Allyn Church of Jerusalem, Gene and Shelly Church of Prattville, Alabama, Jeremy Church of Bentonville, and Nathan and Jessica Church of Mt. Vernon; his father, J. E. Church of Jerusalem; a sister and brother-in-law, Louann and Larry Dicks of Dardanelle; nine grandchildren, Andrew, Coady, Brian, Cameron, Makayla, and Ashlynn Church, and Christopher, Derrick, and Mark Miller; three great-grandchildren, Zachary and Hunter Miller and Braylee Church; and other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2010, at the Cleveland Missionary Baptist Church at Cleveland with Bro. Jimmy Dale Jones officiating. Burial will be in Robertstown Cemetery at Robertstown near Jerusalem, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.

Active pallbearers will be Christopher Dicks, Andrew and Coady Church, Dale Hill, Steve Condley, James Wilson, and Jimmy Dale Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Vaughn and the employees of Superior Graphite.

Visitation will be from 3 - 4 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 126 Lakeview Circle, Russellville, Arkansas 72802.
