Larry Keith Richardson, Sr., son of the late Leonard James Richardson and Edna Mae Canard Richardson, was born July 11, 1949 in Batesville, Arkansas. He departed this life February 13, 2015 at his home in Culp, Arkansas at the age of 65 years, 7 months and 2 days. He was united in marriage to Leaquita Ann Cox June 29, 1968 and to this union three children were born. He spent his life as a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend. He worked in the timber industry as a logger for many years. He was employed by the Arkansas Highway Department in Mountain View. He gave his life to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was a man of God. He was a member of Lone Rock Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Leaquita Ann Richardson of the home; two sons: Larry Keith Richardson, Jr. and wife Lisa of Culp and Shane Keith Richardson of Little Rock; one daughter: Shawn Richardson of Marshall; one brother: Michael Richardson of Michigan; one sister: Susan Parmley of Michigan; six grandchildren: Keith Richardson, Jessica Callahan, Vanda Callahan, Shawna Callahan, Rachael Richardson and Faith Richardson; one great grandchild: Shyla Worley and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be Thursday, February 19 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Christian Fellowship with Wade Moser officiating. Burial will be at Table Rock Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 18 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie’s Family Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Keith Richardson, Robert Cox, Kelt Cox, Bob Cox, Samuel Hurst and Jerry Moody.
Honorary Pallbearers: Shannon Feliccia, Kevin Lavedas and Virgil Cruse.
