Obituary
Ila Mae McGee, 90, of Atkins, died Monday, March 20, 2006 at Stella Manor Nursing Center in Russellville. A daughter of the late James Floyd and Nora Gabriel Hays, she was born February 19, 1916 in Appleton, Arkansas. She was the widow of Carroll McGee, and was a member of Thompson's Chapel Assembly of God. She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Ray Hays, Cecil Hays and R. G. Hays; and a sister, Cleo Goodall. Survivors include a brother, Joe Hays of Atkins; a sister, Verlen Freeman of Atkins; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous nephews and nieces and great-nephews and great-nieces.
The funeral service will be at 2 P.M., on Thursday at the Shinn Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jerry Patton. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery near Appleton , by Shinn Funeral Service.
Active pallbearers will be nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, from 5 to 7 P.M., at the funeral home.
