Covie J. Reynolds, 67, of Centerville died Monday, December 24, 1984 at St. Mary's Hospital in Russellville.
He was a retired construction worker and a member of the Assembly of God Church.
He was the son of the late William Wesley Reynolds and Minnie Evelena Henderson Reynolds.
Survivors include his wife, Vada Malloy Reynolds; four sons and daughters-in-law: Bill and Darlene Reynolds, Bob and Mary Reynolds, Gary and Julie Reynolds, and Jerry and Pam Reynolds, all of Centerville; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and David Pelto of Centerville; numerous grandchildren; one brother, Delbert Reynolds, seven sisters, Belva Wilson, Mae Blackwell, Hester Cook, Arvie Latham, Mildred Church, Leone Beavers, and Maxine Dean.
Funeral services will be at the Shinn Funeral Chapel, Thursday, December 27, 1984 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Ronnie Birge and Rev. Joe Melton officiating. Burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery by Shinn Funeral Home.

Vada C. Reynolds, age 79, of Centerville, died Tuesday, February 27, 2001, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. A daughter of the late George E. Vanders "Vannie" Malloy and the late Myrtle Mae McCoy Malloy, she was born July 31, 1921, at Appleton, Arkansas. She was the widow of Covie J. Reynolds, and attended the Centerville Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Archie D. Malloy and Norman Ray Malloy. Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law: Bill and Darlene Reynolds, Bob and Mary Reynolds, Gary and Julie Reynolds, and Jerry and Pam Reynolds, all of Centerville; a daughter, Kathy Pelto of Centerville; four brothers: Orville Lee Malloy of Appleton; Eugene Malloy of Sikeston, MO; Carl Dean Malloy of Canalou, MO; and Robert Lee Malloy of Lawton, OK; six sisters: Anna Moss of Shawnee, KS; Evelyn Burton of Dover; Ruth Burnett of Exeter, CA; Joyce Waters of Charter Oak, MO; Celesta Daniels of Russellville; and Irene Reed of Oak Harbor, WA; fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, March 2, 2001 at the Shinn Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Birge officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, near Appleton, by Shinn Funeral Service.
Active pallbearers will be grandsons; honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
