Obituary
Jessie Mae Lawrence 79, of Hoxie, died March 13, 2009, at St Bernards in Jonesboro. Born July 26m 1929 at Ravenden she was the daughter of Francis Matthew and Anna Brooks Jones. She was homemaker, an assembly line worker at Skil, and was member of Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Lawrence. Survivors include two sons, Richard Lawrence of Indianapolis, Indiana and Butch Lawrence, Hoxie, three daughters, Peggy Capps of Hoxie, Becky Miller of Beach Grove and Tressa Willbanks of Blytheville, a sister, Essie Dawson of Freeport, Illinois, 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Bryan Funeral Home with Marion Gramling and Bobby Powers officiating. Burial was in Dail Cemetery near Ravenden
Pallbearers were: Neal Carpenter Jonathan Lawrence, Jeremy Lawrence Paul Gaither, Scott Owens, Jr and Scott Owens, Sr.
Honorary pallbearers were Mark Walls, Joey Sanchez, Jeff Jones, Bobby Powers and Mike Lovett.
