Maxine Bell Gordon, 69, of Sherwood, Ark. departed this life Thursday, April 30, 2015.
She was born in Conway on June 15, 1945 to the late Louise Armstrong and LeRoy Bell.
She is survived by four sons, Jimmie Wayne Halcrombe and Bobby Gene McCray, both of Conway; Michael Allen-Gordon of North Little Rock, Ark. and Bobby Dawson of Fort Smith, Ark.; one daughter, Tanya Ester of North Little Rock, Ark.; two brothers, Leroy Bell of Los Angeles, Calif. and Ralph Garlington of Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Celestine Wilburn of Los Angeles, Calif. and Joyce Garlington of Lancaster, Calif.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, 8112 Bicentennial Road, North Little Rock.
Visitation 2-6 p.m., Friday, May 8, 2015 at the funeral home.
Interment, Dukes Cemetery in Conway.
