U.V. Housley U.V. "Pete" Housley, 79, of Atkins died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000. He was born Sept. 12, 1921, in Belleville, the son of Willie and Clara Rector Housley. He was raised by Mr. and Mrs. G.L. Rector. He was retired from Morton Frozen Foods. He was a Navy veteran. Mr. Housley attended Friendship Primitive Baptist Church at Scranton, and was a member of the Atkins Lodge No. 172, the Hector Lodge No. 497, a 32nd Degree Mason, Royal Arch, past Master at Atkins, and past Worthy Patron of Atkins Chapter No. 512 of the Eastern Star. Funeral services are today (Wednesday) at 10 a.m. at Lemley Funeral Chapel in Atkins by Elder H.D. Fulmer. Burial will be at Atkins City Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Pallbearers will be Roger Owen, Gary Turner, Don Ezell, Dale Mallett, Ray Owen, and Ragon Strawn. Honorary pallbearers will be Burl Trigg, Marvin Spicer and Tom Wald.
