Wanda J. Owens, 59, of Russellville, passed from this life to be in the presence of her Lord on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home.
She was born December 15, 1952, at Atkins. She was a loan processer, working at Liberty Bank in Russellville for the past several years. She was a member of the Russellville Christian Center.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Owens; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Lisa Vickers of Clover, South Carolina, Randy and Christi Vickers of Fort Smith, and Dan and Karen Owens of Russellville; a daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Josh Lewis of Fort Smith; her parents, Elmer and Louise Deal of Russellville, and Dorothy and Gene Signs of Atkins; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Alfred Thomas of Russellville, and Cindy and Carroll Rhoads of Mayflower; and five grandchildren, Patience, Justin and Bobbi Vickers, and Elaina and Harris Owens.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2012, at the Russellville Christian Center, officiated by the Rev. Tom Underhill and Susan Allen. Burial will be in the Atkins City Cemetery, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
Active pallbearers will be Alfred Thomas, Carroll Rhoads, Richard Owens, Eddie Martin, John Martin and Josh Jones.
