Obituary
Norma J. Pearce Pratt, 72, of Atkins, passed away Monday, April 29, 2013, at the Atkins Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born September 30, 1940, in Atkins and was the daughter of the late Frank and Lillian Goines Pearce. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer "Bud" Pratt and a brother, Clelon Pearce. She retired after 42 years from ConAgra Foods, was a member of the Atkins First Freewill Baptist Church and the Atkins Women's Group.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sanita and Kenny Ogden; a son, Michael Pratt; and sister and brother-in-law, Edith and Alfred Duvall; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rayburn and Vivian Pearce and Raymond and Sherry Pearce, grandchildren, Summer Adams, Brandy Eakin, Cassie Stroud, Johnathan Pratt and Amy Berry and thirteen great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 1, at Atkins First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny McCoy and Rev. Thomas McCoy officiating. Burial is in Cedar Creek Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday.
Pallbearers are Jeff Pratt, Douglas Duvall, Frank Henderson, Duard Pearce, Terry Pratt and Todd Pearce. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Duvall, Don Virden, Verlin Freeman and Bobby Wilson.
Memorials in her honor may be made to the Atkins First Free Will Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 176, Atkins, AR 72823.
