Obituary
Alice Ruth Markham McCoy, age 81, a resident of Russellville, died Wednesday, December 10, 2003, at the Russellville Nursing Center. She was born November 9, 1922, at Conway, to the late Rueben Tilton and Laura Belle Honsinger Markham. She was a member of the West Side Church of Christ and was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Carl McCoy; a daughter, Geraldine Pechoski; a brother; and several sisters.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, David and Marisa McCoy of Pensacola, Florida; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Joseph Greer of Dover; a brother, Chester Markham of Hattieville; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 12, 2003, at the Shinn Chapel officiated by Mr. Dan Lightfoot. Burial will be in the Cedar Creek Cemetery near Jerusalem by Shinn Funeral Service.

Visitation will be 7 - 8 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2003, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be J. R. Nichols, Robert Gubanski, Robert Nichols, Michael Boyette, Chris Crow, and Charles Davis.
