Richard “Bubbie” Dillon, 16, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 2, 2005. Son of Wendell and Sharon Dillon of North Little Rock, brother of Earnie Weber of North Little Rock, Christi Bryant (Chris) of Roland, Tina Lockhart (Twain) of Ward, Kathy Tury (Ronnie) of Heber Springs and Jimmy and Johnny Dillon. Uncle of Amber and Hali Tury of Heber Springs, Samantha Bryant of Roland and Johnathon Lockhart of Ward.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dick and Rosie “Doodle” McCoy, and Oshal and Lalie Dillon. Bubbie had two very best friends, Alex Ballard and T. J. Ashley along with a host of other friends.
He was a sportsman and played high school football at Oak Grove Jr. High School. Bubbie was kind hearted and loved by all who knew him. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 6, 2005 at Gold Creek Baptist church with a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Creek Cemetery in Jerusalem, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Earnie Weber (brother), Alex Ballard, T. J. Ashley, Richard Harper, Derek Henchel, Brian Pack, Matt Graham and Matt Davis.
The family will receive family and friends at their home beginning at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 5, 2005 at 25423 Hwy. 365 N., North Little Rock.
