Donald L. “Donnie” Moss, 71, of Atkins, passed away Friday, October 24, 2014, at his home. He was born October 15, 1943, in Yell County, son of the late Otto and Mickie Moss. He was a Navy Veteran and enjoyed going to church, fishing, and being with family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jean Nunnelly.
He is survived by his wife, Lynda Moss; 3 daughters, Jamie and husband Michael Hill of Conway, DeeAnne Smith of Conway, and Michelle and husband Daniel Pata of Texas; son, Donald Moss, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Atkins; 5 step-children, Chad Harness of North Carolina, Brenda Wilson of Chickasha, OK, Joann and husband Matthew Gullett of Atkins, Scotty Wilson of Chickasha, OK, and James Dustin Reddell of Dover; 19 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 28, at Atkins First Assembly of God Church with Rev. J.W. Heflin and Rev. Robert Heflin officiating. Burial is in Atkins City Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday
