Raymond Howard Straight Sr., 68, of West Memphis, former resident of Springdale, died Dec. 4 in West Memphis. Born June 1, 1910, at Meadeville, Pa., he was the son of Dr. and Mrs. Howard Straight and a retired farmer. At one time he was an employee of the Famous Hardware here and a member of IOOF Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marian H. Hawk Straight of the home; one son, Raymond H. Straight Jr. of West Memphis; one sister, Mrs. Lacy (Margaret A.) Bishop of Rogers; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Silent Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Burton A. Miley officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Sisco Chapel.

MARION — Marion H. Straight, 90, of Marion died Jan. 9, 2004, at Johnson Hobson Care Home in Marion. She was born March 14, 1913, in Harrisburg, Pa., to David A. and Margaret A. Osbaught Hawk. She was a homemaker and school teacher. She graduated from Whittier College in Whittier, Calif. While attending college, she was social chairperson for Richard M. Nixon. She taught school in Springdale for 20 years and then taught in West Memphis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond H. Straight in 1978.
Survivors include one son, Raymond H. Straight Jr. of Lincoln; one daughter, Margaret Ross of Bentonville; four grandsons; one granddaughter; four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Silent Grove Cemetery in Springdale with Frank Thurman officiating.
Services are under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel.
