Rudy Ray Housdan the son of Chesser H Housdan and Lillie (Cohen) Housdan. Mattie Iren (Vest) Housdan the daughter of Jessie Vest and Lucy (Hughes) Vest.
Mattie Housdan
Mattie Housdan, 76, of Walnut Ridge, died Jan. 18, 2009, at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center.
Born June 3, 1932, at Trumann, she was the daughter of Jessie and Lucy Hughes Vest. She was a homemaker and was of the Protestant belief.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Housdan, on Nov. 15, 1986, whom she married Feb. 15, 1963; and nine siblings.
Survivors include a daughter, Lucy Sellers and husband John, Walnut Ridge; a brother, Ford Vest, Elmo, Wash.; a sister, Jessie Barnhill, Harrisburg; and a grandson, Corey Micheal Sellers.
Funeral service will be today at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Bryan Funeral Home in Hoxie with Rev. Debbie Spangler officiating. Burial will be in the Old Military Cemetery at Sedgwick under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Don Brown, Jim Sellers, Wendell Jones, Bob Heard, Glen Worlow and Thomas Lamb.
