LOWELL — Mary Frances Ross, 78, of Lowell passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born Sept. 30, 1934, in Springdale to Loy Wayne and Verna Maxine Woods Benson.

Frances was a member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Leon Benson; sister, Betty Juarez; and great-grandson, Kyle.

Frances is survived by her husband, Jerry Ross of the home; daughters, Phyllis Taylor and husband, Eddie, of Lowell, Jerri Stamps and husband, Shannon, of Lowell; son, Michael Ross and wife, Judy, of Fayetteville; sister, Carolyn Hickman of San Angelo, Texas; granddaughters, Stacie Watkins of Seligman, Mo., Amy Dillon of Springdale, Rhonda Restine of Bentonville; grandsons, Jeremy Stamps of Colorado and Jeff Ostberg of Siloam Springs; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; stepbrother, Larry Kidd; and stepsisters, Linda K. Dobbs and Karen Bolinger of Prairie Grove.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale, with the Rev. Clark Snow and the Rev. Arther Lee Galloway officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
