May 6, 1890 - October 25, 1975
Mrs. Essie Lee Tribble of Stephens, died Saturday morning in a Camden nursing home at age 85. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lena Drummond of Stephens; two sons, Pat and Gordon Tribble, both of Stephens; one stepson, Jeff Tribble of Camden; one sister, Mrs. Laura Robertson of Camden; one brother, Charles Carroll of Stephens; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Lewis Chapel with the Rev. Ray Burrow officiating, assisted by Robbie Hobbs. Burial was held in Stephens Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Marvin Davis, Frank Davis, Jerry Miles, Douglas Morgan, Pete Salmon and Henry Salmon. (Camden News - October 27, 1975)
