Florence - September 18, 1900 - February 4, 1968
Mrs. Florence Cox Smith, aged 68 of Ogemaw died late Sunday afternoon at her home. She was a native of Poinsett County and a member of the Stephens Church of Christ. Mrs. Smith was the widow of C. F. Smith. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Peggy Brooks of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Mrs. Myra McPherige of Alvis, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Gussie Chorice of Qulin, Mo. and Mrs. R. D. Long of Bald Knob; two brothers, J. W. Cox of Little Rock and Jess Cox of Fair Oaks and four grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Lewis Funeral Home of Magnolia.
