DECATUR — Samuel L. Voyles, 80, of Decatur died Jan. 9, 2006, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born April 21, 1925, in Pleasanton, Kan., to William Henry and Hattie Carlisle Voyles. He was a farmer and a veteran of
World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include five sons, Lonnie Voyles and wife Hilda, Danny Voyles and wife Debbie, Orville Voyles and wife Lianne, all of Decatur, Samuel Voyles Jr. and wife Gabriel of Kansas City, Mo., and Jesse Voyles of Wichita, Kan.; two stepchildren, Kenneth Husky of Wichita, Kan., Pamela Rochat of Kansas City, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, August Voyles of Green Forest.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Decatur Assembly of God with Kirk Anderson officiating.
Burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, online at www.wassonfuneralhome.com.
