Hurschel Lee McHone, 63, of Stephens died Monday afternoon in a local hospital. Funeral services were to be held today at 3 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Stephens. The Rev. John Ross and the Rev. Robbie Hobbs were to officiate. Burial was to be in Stephens Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home. Mr. McHone was a Methodist, a Mason, and a Shriner. He is survived by his wife, Julia Green McHone, Stephens, a daughter, Candace McHone, Stephens, his mother, Mrs. R. E. McHone, Westminister, Tex., three sisters, Mrs. Van Beveres, Westminister, Tex., Mrs. Clayton McGilvrey, Ft. Worth, Tex, and Mrs. Trula Hanks, Ft. Worth, Tex.
Masons were honorary pallbearers. (Camden News - March 20, 1974)
