April 4, 1900 - December 17, 1972
Ogemaw - Mrs. Lois Julia Holt, 72, of Ogemaw, died Sunday morning in a Tulsa, Okla., hospital following a lengthy illness. She was the widow of James A. Holt of Ogemaw, and the daughter of the late Eddie and Mattie Banks Short. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Stephens. Survivors include three daughters; Mrs. Hyldred Saubert of Tulsa, Mrs. Virginia Crouch of Maroa, Ill., and Mrs. Barbara Burnett of Orange, Calif; two sons; James R. Holt of Success, Mo. and Ronald G. Holt of Norman, Okla.; six sisters including Mrs. Lillie Sullivan and Mrs. Maudie Green of Camden; two brothers, and 13 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are pending at Proctor Funeral Home.
