September 22, 1888 - June 14, 1977
Funeral services were to be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Lillie Holt of El Dorado, aged 88, who died early Tuesday morning in an El Dorado hospital following a brief illness. The services are to be conducted by Bill Allen and John Wheeler and burial will be in the Stephens Cemetery at Stephens. Mrs. Holt was the widow of Louis C. Holt of Ogemaw and had lived with her two daughters, Mrs. Price Garrison and Miss Clara Holt at El Dorado for the past seven years. She was born at Ogemaw on September 22, 1888, and was the daughter of the late Jack and Hannah Mullins Meredith. She was a twin, her sister dying shortly after birth. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Other survivors include three sons, Milton J. Holt of Ogemaw, and Herschel and Albert (Sam) Holt of El Dorado, 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
