Preceded in death by three brothers, Arlie, Euel and Leland Tackett and a sister, Nola Tackett.
Survived by his wife, Margaret "Polly" Carter Tackett; two sons and daughters-in-law; three grandsons and a granddaughter-in-law; a sister, and two brothers, Alvis Tackett of Atkins and Rayburn Tackett of Russellville, AR.
Funeral service was Monday at Lemley Funeral Chapel in Atkins, officiated by the Rev. Mark Griffith and the Rev. David Bishop. Burial was in the Atkins City Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
