November 9, 1883 - January 16, 1966
Stephens, Ark. - J. D. Hall, Sr., aged 82, of Stephens, died Sunday at his home following a lengthy illness. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include a son, J. D. Hall, Jr. of Stephens; three daughters, Mrs. Hugh Allen of Tennessee, Mrs. Marvin Smith and Mrs. Frank Jenkins, both of Stephens; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Daniels and Mrs. Maud Green, both of Stephens; and four grandchildren. Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. today (Monday) at the Church of Christ at Stephens. Burial will be in Stephens Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Service of Stamps.
