Services for Felicia Sue Gifford Nickell will be Friday, March 4th, 2011, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home in Jackson, TN. Sue passed away Saturday, February 26th at her home in Parsons, TN, following a lengthy illness. Sue was born March 17, 1961 to James E. (Jim) and Genevieve (Garrison) Gifford, in Mountain Home, AR. She was the youngest of their ten children, and was doted on by all of her older brothers and sisters. Sue was saved and baptized in the East Side Baptist Church and as a teen, sang in the Agape Choir. She attended school in Mtn. Home, graduating in 1979. Sue enjoyed NASCAR racing and was a huge Tony Stewart fan. She loved her home on the river in Parsons, going boating, and evening bon-fires with friends. She always had a funny story to tell, and truly never spoke badly of anyone. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Johnny. Sue is survived by her son Joshua Nickell, and grandson Phoenix Nickell, both of Jackson, TN, Jeff Siegel of Parsons, TN, whom she shared her love, her life and made a home with, Harold Johnson of Jackson, TN, her very special friend, her brother Eli Gifford of Mtn. Home, sister Juanita (Jim) White of Mtn. Home, brother Tuffy (Connie) Gifford of Springfield, MO, sister Mary (Jack) Wood of Mtn. Home, sister Eula (Tom) McAbee of Orange, TX, brother Dennis (Becky) Gifford of Pekin, IL, brother Sam (Barb) Gifford of Des Plaines, IL, sister Becky (Glen) Dalton of Douglas, WY, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins. A Celebration of Sue's Life will be Sunday, March 20th, 2011, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at a No-Host Luncheon to be held at the Ramada Inn in Mtn. Home. Please bring your pictures, stories, and memories of Sue to share with her friends and family. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Calico Rock. Note: A vase as a memorial to her was placed between the gravestones of her parents during April 2015.
