Albert Lee Sharp husband of Ola Mae (Latting) Sharp. Albert Lee Sharp son of Samuel Marion Sharp and Ida Lee (Slayden) Sharp. Ola Mae (Latting) Sharp daughter of Andrew Abraham (Abe) Latting and Mary Jeanette "Jennie" (Ward) Latting.

I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7.

Beloved Mother, mother in law, grandmother, sister and friend departed this earthly life for Heaven on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the age of 91.

Born on November 24, 1926 in Dowdy to the late Abe and Jennie Latting. She was a faithful member of Mt Harmony Freewill Baptist Church. She loved working in her yard, walking, sewing, and time with her family.

Ola was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Albert and one infant son, Samuel Andrew.

Survivors include her children; daughter, Jeanette (Randall) Pope of Jonesboro; a son, Rodney (Sharon) Sharp of Lynchburg, Virginia; grandchildren, Emily (Mike) Cooper of Ruther Glen, Virginia, Jessica (Casey) Flemon, and Matt Pope, all of Jonesboro, Sam (Megan) Sharp of Roanoke, Virginia, Julie (Jeff) Binder of Beaverton, Oregon, Sarah (Josh) Reed of Chino, California, and Hannah (Graham) Browe of Roanoke, Virginia; great grandchildren, Madelyn Pope, Parker Pope, Ellery Flemon, Olivia Sharp, Graham Cooper, and Amos Reed; sisters, Mabel Croom Linebaugh, Marie Sharp, twin sister, Ila Saffell, all of Jonesboro; Treva (Charles) Voyles, of Jacksonville; brothers, TJ (Verna Faye) of Saffell, Abe (Bonnie) Latting of Moline, Illinois; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:30 pm May 30, at Mt Harmony Freewill Baptist Church. Officiating is Bro. Stanley Vandergrift and Bro. Tim Doss. Visitation beginning at 1:00 pm at the church. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, with Roller Crouch Funeral Home providing services.

The family extends a special thank you for the tender, loving care at St. Bernard's Villa, St. Bernard's Hospice and Home Instead.
