DEWITT, Arkansas (SmallTownPapers) -- Roger "Dean" Ross, 56, of DeWitt died May 17 at DeWitt Hospital. He was born Jan.25, 1956,.at Dr. Herd Stone's Clinic in Holly Grove to Gus and Jessie (Smith) Ross. He graduated from Holly Grove High School in 1974. He worked at Lennox Corp. in Stuttgart for 15 years, then was employed by Industrial Iron Works in DeWitt until his health began to fail. He attended Shiloh Church of Christ when possible. His parents; his daughter, Teresa Ross; wife, Betty Lynch Ross and two brothers, Eddie Ross and William Earl Funderburk, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Bohannon Ross of DeWitt; stepson, Ray Lynch of Forrest City; two grandchildren, Bradley and Dakota Roberts; a brother, Billy Ross of Casscoe and two sisters, Bettie Shelton and her husband, Harry, of Casscoe and Julie Morgan and her husband, Bruce of Clarendon.

Pallbearers were Joe Ross, Sam Ross, Ray Lynch. Doug Shelton. David Hayes, Dennis Shelton, David Chism and Johnny Vandesteeg.

Funeral services were held May 21 at Bob Neal & Sons Chapel in Clarendon with Bro. Dennis Ingle officiating. Interment was in Shiloh Cemetery in Holly Grove by Bob Neal &. Sons Funeral Home of Clarendon.
