Betty Lee Baker, age 82, formerly of Clarendon passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2011. A daughter of the late James Willis Rowton and the late Edna Logan Rowton, Betty was born in Aubrey, Arkansas on April 12, 1929. Betty was a member of the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church and a retired Certified Nursing Assistant. Betty is survived by three sons, Charles Baker of Marianna, Marvin Baker of DeWitt, Lee Ripper of Kensett, nine daughters, Louise Boyster of Clarendon, Joann Dungan of Spiro, OK, Debbie Clark of Conway, Kathy Breeding of Crossett, Peggy Tripp of Forrest City, Barbie Dunbar of Clarendon, Dana Baker of Clarendon, Sally Jean Odle of West Helena, Faye Lyons of Judsonia, 50 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Edna Rowton, her husband, Billy Marvin Baker, Sr., sons, David Earl Wilkerson, Ronnie Wilkerson, brothers, Hugh Rowton, Ben Rowton and Denver Rowton. Services will be 11:00 Am, Tuesday at Bob Neal & Sons Chapel in Clarendon with Bro. Richie Malone officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery by Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home of Clarendon. Pallbearers are Joey Ward, Macy Henderson, Berry Hill, Bryan Black, Johnny Parrish and Rocky Savage.
