Tommy Poole, 78, of Guy, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. He was born on November 20, 1935 to the late Alva and Ida Poole. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Poole; sisters, Pansy Wiedower and Barbara Hartwick; Brother, Ferrel Poole.
Pooley as he was known by both his family and friends was retired from Nabholz and Guy Perkins School. He was a longtime member of the Armstead Mountian Deer Club and a member of local 690 Carpenters Union. He was loved throughout the community and will be greatly missed.
Tommy is survived by his son, Scotty Poole (Phyllis) of Guy; daughters, Lisa Ketchum (Gary) of Hackett, Kelly Poole of Heber Springs; grandchildren, Morgan Evatt (Josh), Katie Poole, Randi Wheeler (Bryan), Levi Spears, Cole Ketchum; great-granddaughter, Lea Alice Evatt.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 1, 2014, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Bro. Roger Evatt officiating. Burial will follow in the Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Justin Wiedower, Cody Hartwick, Brad Hartwick, Blake Wiedower, Wade Wiedower, Levi Spears, and Cole Ketchum. Honorary Pallbearers: Ricky Wiedower, Rodney Wiedower, Jerry Hartwick, Billy Hartwick, Jimmy Hartwick, and Ferron Poole.
