Dorothy Irene Parent, 57, of West Siloam Springs, Okla., died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 1994, at her home.
Born Oct. 11, 1937, at Highfill, a daughter of James Thomas Simmons and Alice Marie Chastain Simmons, she was a former employee of Outreach Publications. She had lived in the area since 1982 and was a former longtime resident of California. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Grover Parent of the home; two sons, Mike Lowe of Westville, Okla., and Darrell Parent of Gentry; a daughter, Debbie Sequeira of Siloam Springs; two brothers, James Simmons of Walnut, Calif., and Joseph Simmons of Kansas, Okla.; two sisters, Barbara Francis of Gravette and Betty Sell of Siloam Springs; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs with the Rev. George McFerron officiating. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery.
