SILOAM SPRINGS — Robert "Bob" Melvin McCuistion, 76, of Siloam Springs, Ark., passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the Siloam Springs Regional Hospital. Bob was born April 14, 1937, in Siloam Springs, Ark.; he was the son, of J.B. and Alice McCuistion.

Mr. McCuistion was widower of the late Thelma McCuistion.

He was a farmer and had worked several years as an usher for the University of Arkansas at all sporting events. Bob enjoyed going to the coffee shop and University of Arkansas games.

Survivors include three sons, John McCuistion, Tulsa, Okla., Brian and Kristin McCuistion, Sand Springs, Okla., Michael and Rhonda McCuistion Fayetteville, Ark.; four grandchildren, Megan McCuistion, Liz McCuistion, Derek McCuistion and Dusti McCuistion; sister, Nell and Max Wise, Boaz, Ala.

Bob is survived by many friends and loved ones, and he was expecting his first great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Alice; wife, Thelma; and a brother, Ted McCuistion.

Visitation will be today, April 8, 2014, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel in Siloam Springs, Ark., on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at 10 a.m. Burial will be held at the Weddington Cemetery in Wedington, Ark., under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Ark.
