FAYETTEVILLE — Erma Lea Layne, 83, of Fayetteville died July 16, 2006, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale. She was born April 16, 1923, in Savoy to William Artie and Bertha Marie Craig Luttrell. She was a member a the Weddington Baptist Church for many years. During World War II she worked in the defense plant at Wichita, Kan. She was preceded in death by her husband Grant Layne. She worked in the real estate business and was active in the Garden Club, Rotary Anns and the Riding Club. She had lived in Fayetteville for several years.
Survivors include nieces, nephews and two sisters-in-law.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Weddington Missionaiy Baptest Church in Wedington with Phil Misenheimer officiating. Burial will follow in Weddington Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Harold Seitz, Delmar Collins, Ronald Ezell, Carl Hill, Dale Draper and Harrison Davis. Honorary pallbearer will be O.A. Yancey.
Arrangements are by Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove.
