Christene P. Reading, 93, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Arkansas. Born September 19, 1920, in Oxnard, California she was the daughter of Bernard and Bessie (Carney) Provost. Mrs. Reading lived most of her life in the community and was a homemaker. Christene and Paul Reading were married December 5, 1942.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul, sisters Grace, Emma Lee and Velma.

Survivors include; son Dennis Reading and wife Mary of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; daughter Sherry Gray and friend Balton Winningham of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; four grandchildren Kendra Etherton and Casey Odle both of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Warren Winningham of Watts, Oklahoma and Dirt Winningham of Cherokee City, Arkansas; seven great grandchildren; brother Harvey Provost of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and sister Carrie Davenport of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Fairmount Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Arkansas with Mr. Ron Reading officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762-9914.
