FRANKLIN — Wilma Tressie Foreman, 87, of Franklin died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, in Ash Flat.
Born Feb. 6, 1924, in Ballard, she was the daughter of Lacy and Bessie Pendergrass Foreman. She was employed by North Arkansas Electric Cooperative in Salem, retiring after 34 years of employment. She was of the Baptist faith and was an active member of Myron Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Faye Estilee Martin of Little Rock; eight nephews and nieces, Cindy Yancey of Horseshoe Bend, Leann Johnson of Mount Pleasant, Debbie Bailey of Franklin, Randy Martin of Mayflower, Linda Langan of Maumelle, Dickie Martin and Tommy Martin, both of Little Rock, and Sherry Gresham of Brinkley; and 13 great-nephews and great-nieces, Jessica Hogue, Audra Burris, Lacey Weston, Keaton Johnson, Brittney Bailey, Jacob Bailey, Ashley Martin, Mike Martin, Christopher Langan, Justin Martin, Jack Thomas Martin, Jennifer Martin and James Martin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Donnie Foreman and Remon "R.G." Foreman.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Myron Baptist Church with Robert Norton and Ernest Allen officiating. Burial will be in Violet Hill Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers will be Tom Bailey, Bill Yancey, Keaton Johnson, Randy Martin, Tommy Martin and Dickie Martin.
Honorary pallbearer is Jacob Bailey.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
