ROGERS — Jimmie Robert Williamson, 79, of Rogers died Feb. 25, 2006, at McDonald County Nursing Home in Anderson, Mo. He was born May 18, 1926, in Pittsburg, Kan., to Fred H. and Clara E. Williamson. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was an electrical engineer for Southwestern Public Service in Lubbock, Texas, before retiring to Rogers in December 1986. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Rogers and was a member of the Kiwanis Club and was an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine June "Gerry" Cline Williamson of the home; two sons, Jimmie R. Williamson Jr. of Carrollton, Texas, and Larry D. Williamson of Bentonville; one sister, Georgene Jack of Clovis, Calif.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Bentonville.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Bentonville Cemetery.

BENTONVILLE - Geraldine "Gerry" June Williamson, 86, passed away on June 18, 2010, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark. Gerry was born June 10, 1924, in Columbus, Kan., to Homer and Lelia Cline.
She grew up in Columbus, Kan., and graduated from Cherokee County Community High School in 1942. She worked at Spencer Chemical Company in Crestline, Kan., where she met and married her husband, Jimmie R. Williamson, on March 20, 1949.
The Williamsons then moved to Lubbock, Texas, where Gerry was a homemaker for 36 years. She retired with her husband to Rogers, Ark., in December of 1987. They lived in Rogers until June 2005. She was a member of First Christian Church of Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Feb. 25, 2006. Gerry last resided at The Meadows Assisted Living in Rogers.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, Jimmie R. and Jennifer Williamson of Carrollton, Texas, and Larry and Deborah Williamson of Bentonville, Ark.; a cousin, closer than a sister, Johanne Fairchild and husband Mahlon of Maryville, Mo.; one brother and his wife, Marvin and Maudyne Cline of Wichita, Kan. She has five grandchildren, Christy Watson of Georgetown, Texas, Dr. Amber Degryse of Nashville, Tenn., Ryan Williamson of Little Elm, Texas, Jamie Kelso of Dallas, Texas and Heather Williamson of Little Rock, Ark.; and four great-grandchildren with one on the way, all of Texas; along with many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held at noon on Monday, June 21, 2010, at Bentonville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, family respectfully requests donations be made to Circle of Life Hospice or The American Diabetes Association.
Services are under the direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville.
