BENTONVILLE — Harold Issac Haughn, 81, of Bentonville, Ark., passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark. He was born Nov. 20, 1930, in Elizabeth, Ark., to Roy Otto Haughn and Reable Marchant Haughn. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, reading westerns and was a master story teller. He was a "Jack of all trades" and was called "Grandpa Hero" because he could fix anything. He enjoyed his many friends, especially his "Mayflower friends," but loved his family above all. He was preceded in death in 2004 by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Simpson Haughn; his parents; one daughter, Anita Mahurin; and his brother, Hayden Haughn.
Harold is survived by two sons, Michael Haughn and wife, Deanna, of Gravette, Joe Haughn and wife, Kim, of Bella Vista; son in-law, Leslie Mahurin and wife, Peggy; three daughters, Cheryl Amos and husband, Lester, of Decatur, Melissa Reckenbecker and husband, Tom, of Bella Vista, Amy Markum and husband, Doug, of Rogers; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles. nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at Falling Springs Church in Decatur with Pastor Will Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in Falling Springs Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Harold Haughn to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers. Online condolences may be made at stockdalefuneral.com.

BENTONVILLE — Barbara Simpson Haughn, 69, of Bentonville died March 23, 2004. She was born Feb. 26, 1935, in Cave Springs to Forest and Nellie Perkins Simpson. She attended Evening Star School in Cave Springs and the Bentonville school system. She enjoyed reading, gardening and roses. She returned to Northwest Arkansas in 1968 from Esparto, Calif. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Harold Haughn of the home; two sons, Michael Haughn and wife Deanna of Gravette and Joe Haughn and wife Kim of Bentonville; three daughters, Cheryl Amos and husband Lester of Decatur, Melissa Reckenbecker and husband Tom of Bella Vista and Amy Haughn of Bentonville: one sister, Nancy Simpson Lea of Rogers; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, She was preceded in death by one daughter, Anita Mahurin in 1997.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Decatur with a nephew, Jeff Simpson officiating. Burial will be in Falling Springs Cemetery west of Decatur.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers.
