GOODMAN, Mo. — Lorene Powers, 90, of Goodman, Mo. died April 11, 2012. She was born Dec. 27, 1921, in Sallisaw, Okla., to the late Leo and Maude (Scott) Gann.

Lorene loved to garden and spend time with her family and was a member of Radiant Life Church in Bentonville, Ark.

Survivors include her four daughters, Sue Perdue of Kansas, Okla., Wanda and her husband, Gene Burgos, of Goodman, Mo., Shirley Risenhoover of Mission, Texas, and Helen Chew of Joplin, Mo.; 24 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; and 39 great-great-grandchildren; her two sisters, Willis Hood and Pauline Hunt, both of Fairfax, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Powers; sons, Davied Cauthren, Donald Cauthren, Jerry Cauthren, Mark Cauthren and James Cauthren; daughter, Carol Cauthren; brothers, Floyd and Jess Gann; three sisters, Ora Melton, Ann Vaughn and Janice Ellis; and her children's father, Elmer Cauthren.

Funeral services will be on Monday, April 16, at 2 p.m. at the Radiant Life Church in Bentonville, with visitation one hour prior to funeral service time. Burial will follow at Bentonville City Cemetery.
